Here at Long Creek Herb Farm, Josh Young oversees the mail order operation, tends to the animals and works in his woodpile. Our Jack Russell terrier Molly thinks Josh's only job is to accompany her wherever she wants to go.

Josh is the author of Missouri Curiosities, an off-beat guidebook to the Show Me State, now going into its 3rd edition with the Globe Pequot Press. Josh got that gig as a result of his "Dang Near Native" newspaper column, for which he received three awards from the National Newspaper Association. Watch for a collection of Josh's humorous essays someday, because his fans and former readers just won't give up on the idea.
